James P. Greene
Mr. Greene is a noted Tax Attorney, National Speaker, and Instructor of Law, Economics, and Mathematics. Among other distinctions, he completed an Economics Fellowship at the University of Chicago, holds a Master of Arts in Economics, was a Licensed Commodity Broker, and is a Licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.
He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, JD/LLM (Tax) in 1995 and 1996, respectively, and operates a full-service law practice in downtown Chicago, Illinois, James P. Greene & Associates, where he concentrates on asset protection, tax, elder law and estate and business planning. In addition to his practice in Chicago, he regularly advises tax clients in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As a faculty member at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Greene has taught courses on both international and corporate tax. In addition to his formal teaching duties, he frequently speaks nationally and in the community on topics of Asset Protection, Estate Planning, and Taxation.
Mr. Greene is a member, founder and former president of the National Association of Tax Professionals-Nevada Chapter. Additionally, he has served on both the Tax and Asset Protection Committees of the Chicago Bar Association.
He is founder and current president of the Illinois Tax Training Institute (ITTI): a corporation dedicated to providing high quality training and education, paving the way to financial independence by teaching members of the community at large, to become professionals in tax preparation for individuals and businesses. The institute promotes tax compliance and integrity in the profession and gears its course materials to reflect the significant role of ethics in the practice.
