Students may pay for each Module no later than one week prior to the beginning of classes. Students may make a one-time payment for all three Modules.

Preliminary Admission Procedures:
Candidates for admission must comply with the following procedures:
- Call the Director of Admissions and Recruitment to schedule an interview appointment
- After meeting with the Director, you will take the Admission’s Test (Although there are no academic requirements for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination, ITTI does require all students to have a basic level of reading and mathematics skills.)
- Basic Reading Test
- Basic Mathematics Test
- After meeting with the Director, you will take the Admission’s Test (Although there are no academic requirements for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination, ITTI does require all students to have a basic level of reading and mathematics skills.)
- You will receive a copy of the Institute’s Catalog for review
- Fill out the Enrollment Agreement and submit the form to the Director of Admissions and Recruitment
- Please bring your Driver’s License (State I.D.) and Social Security Card to the appointment
All Enrollment Agreements must be accompanied by the $75.00 Registration Fee, which is non-refundable (See our refund policy)
Scholarships
Scholarships are available to students who enroll for all three Modules in preparation for the SEE. Applications must be submitted within the specified time period in order to be considered eligible. Please contact our office for further details.

Mayor's Office of Workforce Development (MOWD)/Workforce Investment Act (WIA) approved training program: MOWD will pay tuition, testing and certification fees for eligible applicants
Refund Policy
Refunds will be issued only in compliance with this policy. There will be absolutely no exceptions.
- Before midnight of the fifth business day, prior to the first day of class: 100% refund of tuition and registration fee
- After midnight of the fifth business day following acceptance, but prior to the close of business on the first day of class: 100% refund of tuition; however, the registration fee is non-refundable
- After student completes the first day of class, prior to the completion of 5% of the course or module, whichever is applicable, the Institute shall retain: 10% of tuition or $300.00, whichever is less; however, the registration fee is non-refundable
- After student completes more than 5% of the course or module, whichever is applicable, the Institute shall retain: An amount prorated by days in class plus 10% of tuition, up to completion of 60% of the course or module; however, the registration fee is non-refundable
- After student completes more than 60% of the course or module, whichever is applicable, the Institute shall retain 100% of the tuition; the registration fee is non-refundable
- Any student applying for a program that is discontinued by the Institute shall receive a complete refund of all fees and/or tuition paid. It is the policy of the Illinois Tax Training Institute to issue refunds of tuition and fees in a prompt manner.
- If no notification of refund request is received, and student has had an unexplained absence of more than fifteen (15) consecutive days, the Illinois Tax Training Institute shall consider the student to have withdrawn from the program. In all cases, the date of withdrawal shall be the last day of attendance.
- Refunds shall be made within 30 days of the last day of the attendance if written notification has been provided to the Institute by the student; otherwise, refunds shall be made within 30 days from the date the Institute terminates the student or determines that the student has withdrawn. Determination that a student has withdrawn shall be made within 30 days of the last day of attendance. The Illinois Tax Training Institute shall provide written acknowledgement of a student’s notification of withdrawal within (15) calendar days of the postmark date of the notification of withdrawal. In all instances, refunds shall be based on and computed from the last day of attendance.
